There is so much courage in the world today. I am amazed. My small contribution is creating every day. I am a maker. I’m trying to be part of the solution not part of the problem.

Today’s intention is delight. I do “take great pleasure” in patterns. Color and pattern are the mainstays of my art.

Today my intention is service. Every morning I’m checking in with my family and a group of friends. I’m trying to be part of the solution not part of the problem. Usually I’m out and about doing some more active, “in the world” service. Now I’m trying from home to be the best I can be. My theme for the year is Suit Up and Show Up.

The world is a very different place than it was last Sunday when I wrote a week’s worth of intentions. I thought Sunday Enjoy would be a light, kind of kick back post. Now everything is upside down. I’m so grateful to have a beautiful art studio in my home with every supply I would possibly want. I am going to Enjoy this special spot. Please find a special spot to enjoy too. How lucky am I am! In all this craziness that is surrounding us I’m able to pick up a paint brush and dream. I am so grateful.

It’s just paint!

My intention for today is relax. This is a difficult one for me. I get very caught up in “rules”, “what I’ve learned”, “how things should go”, “push/pull”, “warm vs cool”, you get what I’m saying! That I don’t play very well. I never get to the happy accident stage. Today I’m just messing around with paint! Because after all it’s just paint – wonderful, pretty, gooey paint!
