I must remember to take the time and space to see the beauty in simple things. Breathe and notice…
Create
I have spent a lot of time in my studio creating, making with my hands daily. What a gift it is to create!
Service
“We may try to help somebody and think we have failed, but the seed we have planted may bear fruit sometime. We never know the results even a word of ours might have. But the main thing is to have charity for others, a real desire to help them, whether we succeed or not.” That is what service means to me.
Clarity
I have a morning routine. Prayers, meditation, gratefuls, checkins, readings, journaling. These things help me slow down and relax, get ready for my day. Looking out my bedroom window at the birds on my feeder is also part of my routine. My swirling thoughts can pause and then I get a little clarity.
Explore
I have seen this done and really like the idea. I think in the past I have used the fabric to early in the process and its’s been covered up. I’m stalled with this piece. I don’t want to paint anything more and “wreck it”, but I think it’s boring. I have a couple of pieces where fabric might give a visual texture and I can try before I permanently attach. I’ll keep you posted.
Peace
I’m going to tell on myself. I need an attitude adjustment. It starts today. This last week I’ve been slowly slipping down the slippery slide of negativity.
All is well. Live and Let Live. Be part of the solution not the problem. I am truly blessed. There is so much good in my life. I want PEACE to be the center of me. Thank you for listening!
