Every morning I connect with different groups of people. My morning text check in has become an important part of my every day. This crazy time has made me make an effort to connect. I have so much thankfulness for the positive changes in my life.

During “stay at home” I’m trying to learn new things. I’m generally a Learner for Life and always trying to learn new things in my studio. Now I’m opening books, sampling new techniques, using dusty supplies, learning to do things better. I’m lucky to have a fabric stash and a sewing machine. Learning to make a better, more comfortable mask!

I need to discover what and why I’m painting.

Yesterday I took a picture of my magnolia tree out of my kitchen window amazed that its still blooming. Then this ?!?!?! This morning! It’s been blooming and holding on to its blooms over over two weeks. Sun, warmth, wind, hail, snow and the blooms are still there. I am delighting in the strength and stamina of my beautiful magnolia tree.
